My purpose? I'm still trying to find it. I've been staring at the same cursor for months now just trying to rhyme this. Frustration is time wasted, but that's when I'm reminded how art is timeless. A killer of creativity is what I call a deadline, so I erased the due date and threw away the guidelines. The word "bored" isn't in my vocabulary anymore because of how loud my crowded mind is, but I'll be the first to admit my voice gets so small and quiet. The pressure to speak is the pressure to commit. The things we say we cannot take back, but the lines I write I can surely omit, so I work with my hands and attempt to transmit my thoughts where my words will fit. On papers thick and papers thin, that's my ink and this is my pen; is it a crime to stay hidden behind them? Someone please tell me, I need to know, do words hold value even when they're silent? A page of words is just a collection of symbols, and whether intricate or simple, they are in perfect alignment. A chaotic order is what turns letters into bestsellers. Turning ideas into an expression using the memorization of all the different combinations which hold the power of becoming a sound if you speak them out loud. So speak if you must, but don't speak without reason. No one will remember all the useless chit-chatter, or the small talk when asked about the weather or the changing seasons. If you have something to say, something that matters, write it down and reread it every day or every hour.
