Flip a switch Subdue a perpetual twitch Iron chains trail Endlessly hitched Lying on a frozen grave Tossing and grieving
Not a forcefield but imaginary walls built from dread Fearful eyes packed in the dirt with the dead Strung up by your toes
I lost her At a time I let pass I packed up threw her in the trash She was clever, but scared of everything she didn’t know
