Tick, tock, tick, tock..

I wake up to hear my clock talking

It’s telling me a story of times of despair

I look up to see a man with barely any hair for only a body

For this man has come to me once in a dream

A dream of many demons that were singing

All I can see is those eyes glaring into my soul of demise

“What is your name?” asked he.

“A...Athaiah” I answered slowly..

This suppose man has a look of a thousand lies

For deep inside I could hardly realize if now is the time

My uncle warned me of demons but not these kind...

I can only imagine his angelic whispers that still haunt me through the night

The room fogs with fear

Eye to eye, soul to soul

They say you don’t know what fear is until death awaits

But I know my fate, for my name is Athaiah

Demons don’t know what hell is, but I don’t mind showing them

Peculiar how these things work...

We are supposed to fear the unknown

But little do they know…

The unknown fears me

Tick, tock, tick, tock

Do you hear it?

Do you hear the sounds of the destressed?

Or is that just your heart that your mistaking for a clock?

Time is the key to life...

For time is life

That, you will soon learn, when this man looks you into your soul
