At Ease

Each moment with you feels like an eternal dream,

oh how things seem so unkeen yet surreal

with you, there is much magic that radiates from your heart,

to mine.

Like all those times, that you would listen to me ramble so,

or how we tended to gamble a fro with how we felt.

Perhaps sometimes feeling confused in an onslaught of emotion,

but after the pain subsides,

and the storm clouds of the soul eradicate,

There is clarity, which emanates boldly with such vibrancy of a rainbow,

our true colors exposed amidst the close of the storm,

As my heart persists passionately towards you,

longing to sacrifice a shoulder for your weary head,

an arm or two to provide you warmth through the coldest hours,

a chest, stout as a barrel for you to rest on, feeling safe and protected through anytime and anywhere.

Sure, it may or may not take some time,

to truly face what stirs so boldly in my core,

yet I know love is patient,

and as gentle as it can be unsettling.

We are both young, full of so much light and hope,

Who are we to expect anything?

Yet and still, at this moment, in my heart

It is your light and love that I greet so intimately into the most sensual centers of my being.
