Driving down the skyline
Searching for the perfect places,
Peaceful enough to match
The serenity of your soul.
Overlooking Crescent Rock
As mother began to cry,
Watching the water flow
At Dark Hallow Falls.
Passing through Hazletop,
Scattering your remains
Through the field of wildflowers.
Black-eyed Susans in clusters
All over the Shenandoah
That now remind us of you.
