As You Chase A Thousand Sunsets

Feel the tingling and the echoes of the earth

Beneath your feet

As you chase a thousand sunsets

Slightly turn your head back towards the people that you love

Who loves you more than anything in this world

more than you can imagine

more than words can comprehend

more than the pain in marching into an enigma

Let your eyes dance and sing

let it illuminate, as if the stars in the heavens

shy away from your presence

Feel the trembles of the body and soul

let love consume your existence

face your demons with courage and good spirit

use your mind to be conscious on the things around you

befriend and be a friend

Guard that fire in your heart.

stand firm and be immovable

fight for what you believe in.

daunting as it may seem,

find the goodness in everyone just like your mother.

Smile even if they don’t

always take it with you.

Keep it together. Fight it.

When the heart is weak,

Your mother’s embrace will always be there to take the pain away

As you chase that sunset,

We see a soul who has myriads of adventures to tell,

songs to sing,

battles to win,

tears to cry,

skin waiting to be scathed

Just remember to do everything for love,

For the rain, for the sun,

For the happiness,

For the breeze that’s touching our faces,

the chocolates,

the piano’s melody,

and for the ember in our hearts.
