Archangel

A Poem

You had it so good,

then your pride would,

be the thing that got in the way;

what more do you have to say?

Your tale is indeed sad,

why did it end up this bad,

falling so far from grace,

deceiving the human race?

Your breath used to be so sweet,

now it is far worse than smelly feet,

you brought so many down with you,

now souls you greedily accrue!

You knew the right way to worship,

you knew the truth and had a firm grip,

and yet you fell hard into darkness,

and now you are so heartless!

The thing is, you know your time is short,

and yet you continue to play at your sport,

none of it is funny or amusing,

you are just plain confusing!

You will rot with the rest of the rebellious,

it is your hatred that propels us,

to shine the light all the brighter,

which is why we are all the mightier!

We've been given authority over you,

but yet there are so few,

who actually are aware of such power,

we have it anytime, in each and every hour!
