Apologize

This isn't an apology.

Passing down that familiar street

Driving pass that same house

Entering the city

With all those memories

Run back into my head

So, I’ve said some things

You may not have liked

Don’t go thinking that

This is some type of an apology

Out of all the words I say

It will never be me saying sorry

After all this time

I never thought I would be back here

Passing that place where you made me your own

Traveling to different places

You were excited to show me

I couldn’t stop smiling from the passenger seat

So, I’ve said some things

You may not have liked

Don’t go thinking that

This is some type of an apology

Out of all the words I say

It will never be me saying sorry

I thought that was gonna be the last time

I’d would see your face

But you didn’t see me

I was crying all the way home

I didn’t want you to leave

But luck was on my side

I would get to see you again

But who knew that it would be the last time

I’d share a bed with you

We said some things

We both haven’t liked

But neither will we apologize

All the words

Why can’t we apologize
