Anxiety is like the monster living under your bed.
Creeping up before you making you scream and heavily breathe.
Anxiety, like the bully at school, except unlike the bully at school you can't run home. Because this bully resides in your bones.
This bully leaves invisible bruises. You're begging it to stop but it refuses.
Anxiety is shaky hands and sweaty palms in which only music calms.
Anxiety is doubts and missing out because you're not ready for the fallout.
Anxiety is heavy breathing and blurry vision sending you on an imaginary mission.
Anxiety, like the monster that lives under your bed, except this monster, it lives in your head.
