Another Love
Like a spring that yields to the cold

Like a spring that yields to the cold
A new passion arrives in season to deliver up the old
Whether it was true, only time can show
When it is time to move on, only your heart can know,
In desire's furnace we live and learn
In affection's flame the dead branches burn,
Love's vines no longer reach as they did,
But find another who was once hid
A crushing period of tears and pain,
But another comes to wash it away like rain,
A sour root poisons us both,
But a new horizon renews love's growth,
A savior found in life's divine cycle
A restless spirit to unbridle.
