An Off-Guarded Love
I never thought that you would find me,
I had blocked my mind and the thoughts of love; I couldn't mentally see,
Lost in my emotional expectations of the opposite sex,
The pain of previous relationships made my life so complex,
In the middle of my tears and insecurities,
You brought me back to life; erased all the negativity,
You made me change the way I looked at life,
No more focusing on my past love life's strife,
Lifted from the heaviness of pain,
Love, happiness, and trust is what I have and will continue to gain,
From you, the man who had the balls to enjoy this journey we call life,
With me, by your side, as your loving and devoted wife.
