Alone

Clowns in the Street

Alone

I yawn

and create

a parody song

About a girl

I used to know

She was a star

of a freak show

She's in you

She's in me

Her name is

Comedy

clown

clown

clown

clown

clown

clown

all

fall

down

Car door opens and soon they're

all over town

There's clowns in the streets

and it's up to my cankles

Clowns in the streets

and it's up to my trick knee

Clowns in the streets

all around Mianus

Clowns on the rise

and they're following me

Clowns in the streets

scream a river of madness

Clowns in the streets

and they're out after midnight

The make-up runs white

down the drain of the bathtub

The mimes are all crying

white rivers are seeping

Clowns in the streets

in a town in New Jersey

Clowns paint the roofs

and the palm trees of Venice

Clowns in my head

in this Indian summer

The Clowny young mongo

in sarcastic N.J.

Clown! screams the brain

as you pull on my finger

Clown lost his paint

as he swam in the ocean

Clown the red nose of hysterical

union
