Alone

In My Head...

Exposed

Smoothing soft curls across his brow, like a wave curves the contours of the rough coast.

Gazing into his eyes, a pool of deep black that pulls me into his gravity.

Touching his smooth chest, and it feeling like winter never came.

Softening to his warm touch, like a snowflake melts on a child's tongue.

Falling into a state of bliss, as his hand traces my thigh, just as each petal of a rose twines around the next.

Hearing his laugh, and it feeling like kisses upon my quivering lips.

Feeling his jaw rest upon my hair, and our worries halving.

But the sea is full of sharks ,and my heart is the bait.
