Alone

Running Away Forever

The sun's light is slowly showing,

The birds sing gracefully,

Their voices shine through the snow,

I hear a voice that's calling me,

It's begging me to come home.

I wake up in the morning light,

Wishing I never ran,

My mother shall be devastated,

It's going not as I planned.

I miss my friends so dearly,

I wish I could go home,

The sun and birds are my only friends,

I shall always be alone.

Why will no one wake me,

From my plague of dreams,

Which quickly turn to nightmares,

All I hear is my screams.
