All the Lips I've Kissed

New Perspective

Yoga class

I'm dripping wet with sweat

Unlike those years with tears

I close my eyes and I think of him

Again

But unlike those years

Of tearing apart every little rift and why

Instead I think of his lips

How at one point in my life

All I cared about in the world was kissing those lips

A pleasant thought

I smile

And the thought of his lips carries me over

To the lips of every ex

No care in the world as to how those lips became exes' lips

But at certain points in my life

All I cared about were each of those lips, respectively

I would not be where I am had I not kissed each one

All the lips I've kissed

I'm forever grateful

All the lips I've kissed

Merely pleasant memories

That is all.
