All Colors of Thought
An Abstract Political Poem About the Current State of Society
Redrover come over to get the green/
Greyhound bus follows yellow brick dreams/
ignore the man behind the curtain put money in the machine/
Blue Chips stack under yellowtail skies while a blue moon blurs blue sunshine/
Wake up Wake up time to rise/ snow-white ignites the night seen through red eyes/
for people painting disguised lives/ while white blue and beige lights and lines fill the night
To find the shortest distance between two points is a line (Go to Pre-chorus and chorus)
Reflecting All Colors of thought through an hourglass pass/years by the second in a flash/ It never gets old chasing rainbows to a pot of gold/while Black Thoughts ink bleeds on stories told
Extra! Extra! RED all about it
Extra! Extra! RED all about it
Purple hearts for heroes passed by/pays for gold toilets wipe with their lives/Black fuel fills the heart of the machine like clockwork- orange agents for the cream/Deadman's hands dealt around the table/Go all in! Bet it All! Bet it All! try your luck at impossible odds take the fall and find the fastest distance between two points is to follow the white light
Fact dims lines of genius and maniac/A complex reality or simple dream/ignorance is bliss you take your pick/red or blue (pills) thrills into the rabbit hole we go/To play yellow brick rhodes through black & White keys of Russian roulette melodies/to unlock the red white and blue iron curtain/fortune and fame to fool millions -let freedom rain! Chase the dream & find truth, love, and happiness in this game
Are you willing to pay?
At what cost? your soul is lost sold
To find the shortest distance between two points is a lie
Reflecting All Colors of thought through an hourglass pass/years by the second in a flash/ It never gets old chasing rainbows to a pot of gold/while Black Thoughts ink bleeds on stories told
Extra! Extra! RED all about it
Extra! Extra! RED all about it
