Airport Revery

I like to get to the airport early

especially these days with

all the paranoia that

hovers over a place like that

and the new automated ticket agents

at the check-in counter.

it's rather sterile for me

and if you have a problem

you can complain all you want to

a machine

but they won't say anything back

which could be a good thing

however, it probably won't solve

your problem.

but that's technology and eventually

you will be replaced

and I will be replaced

by a computer that can

compose superior verse

than this.

which may not be saying much but

at least I'm saying it.
