Age Isn't Knowledge

Life Is a Constant Lesson

I didn't ask for your input, I didn't ask for your advice.

But still you keep talking, you don't think twice.

You can't comprehend the simplest notion, you don't understand any of my emotions.

You think your age gives you all the knowledge,

Nobody could come close to your experience, your insight.

There's no way anyone could've suffered as you did.

Yet here I stand before you, begging you to see my pain, to hear my cries.

But to you it's just a ruse, just a dramatic lie.

A desperate attempt for attention, a ploy for the spotlight.

You don't seem to understand that everyone suffers differently.

An event that may be minuscule to you can break somebody else.
