Aesthetic: A Goodbye Letter

I'll see you in Hell.

You left marks on me that formed constellations

Every star is a memory that I cannot forget

Every space between them is a breath I wasn’t fast enough to catch,

A wound on my heart that I couldn’t heal,

Your faded scent on my clothing

You left acid in my lungs,

Poison ivy on my teeth,

You stole my dreams before I could make them

You burned up my future with your serpent tongue

You became the monster hiding under my bed

The anxiety I feel as I walk the streets

The nightmares that I can never escape from

And then

And then

And then

You left

And. I. could. breathe.
