About My Life

A Poem

No, no you don't want to know about my life

With all the secrets I try to hide

Always being reminded of the shame

I have no one else but myself to blame

The torture is killing me inside

No, no I can't tell you about my life

What matters is that I tried

I am guilty of disgracing my name

No one looks at me the same

Countless tears I have cried

No, no I won't tell you about my life

They don't understand why I've lied

Stuck with a life I am unable to reclaim

My heart played with like a game

I stand all alone with no one on my side
