I don't know how to explain it really,
but that feeling I got when I held your hand
was powerful.
A kind of strength that could move mountains.
A kind of strength that could lead armies.
A grip that could hold all the pieces together
even if it felt like
they were all falling apart.
The kind of strength to make it through
anything and everything life would throw at
us.
And I somehow knew then just by the touch of
your hand
that you would be okay,
that I would be okay
and that we all would be okay.
