A Tale of Two Lives

For you to feel as you feel right

I love a tale of stories untold

Of bodies forgotten through memories old.

The hard working man with money for none

Whilst the sloth up top spends money for fun.

The sailor that seeks to travel the waves

But whose body collapses as the vessel sways.

The writer whose words appeal to our life

Though speechless he stands in front of his wife.

The boy whose life was made to run

But his heart gave out at just twenty one.

The system that allows convicts to sail

Whilst hard working men spend their time to fail.

The vote of one that can count for three

To override the hope of a tyrant’s country.

The worker that chooses a life to lead

Then goes up in arms at the Union’s plead.

The money that’s spent on a reckless deed

Then he goes home to hungry mouths to feed.

So behind every story, there is an action to feel

So it us up to you which cards you deal.
