A Song for A Soul

Late Night Thoughts

Not lost in the present

Getting caught in retention

What does she do?

Becoming confused

Trying to fight off these blues

She's losing you too...

Oh.

It's crumbling now

This make-believe town where nothing is real

Or so it appears...

Oh.

Please

She's crying out now

Don't let her go now.

The hills, the dreams

All the things she's never seen are here.

She looked to you for guidance, but could you provide it?

Her memory lives on, and so will this song

I hope it reminds you to check on those who seem happy. Who say "I'm fine."

The people you love who are doing alright but deep down they're scared of being alive.

You can save a life

We've all got to try.
