A Prayerful Warrior

I am stuck in my ways

I want a job that generously pays

One that I am well fit for

Of course I wouldn’t ask for anything more,

But I also want to be able to live

To enjoy life that’s truly a gift

And make future plans of fruitfulness

I want a family stemmed from wholesomeness

To have pure truth at our every growing root

Experiencing complete passion as a phenomenal classic

Is there no fulfillment to my wish?

Are my desires cast out to the fish?

Dumped in quick sand

Tossed from hand to hand

Do I not fit the image of a hardworking light-worker or angel?

Am I not deserving of a different path or alternative angle?

All of this love I have to give must not go to waste

Because I know for certain that I have what it ultimately takes,

I have you God.
