A tree that reaches far past your embrace...
Grows from a single small seed.
A structure that towers high in the sky...
Starts with a handful of earth.
A journey of a thousand miles...
Starts with a single step.
I could tell you what to do, would you understand ?
It all starts with self respect.
We are drowning in information but we are starving for knowledge.
We are walking blind to see.
That joy is not in things it is within us...
It’s our own fault we’re not happy.
Sometimes it proves the highest understanding not to understand.
When life is speeding by us and we’re too busy making plans.
We lose ourselves in work to do, work to do and bills to pay...
We become our own worst enemy’s by forever looking ahead day after day.
We should worry less, hurry less and stop and smell the flowers.
For life is so short we need to be taught that now holds all the power.
There is so much in the world for us all if only...
We have the eyes to see it, the hand to grasp it for ourselves...
The heart to truly feel it.
Kindness is more important than wisdom.
The recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom.
So take these words they’re so easy to speak...
Make their echoes endless.
Remember it’s the will we keep...
That manifests our actions...
Can make or break our day.
Our very own will...
That can feed our strength...
Or allow us to fade away.
