A Poem to Myself When I Feel Bad About Being Single

Never forget your worth.

Your worth is determined by one person,

and one person only...

You.

Not a friend.

Not a relative.

Not a stranger.

Not a partner.

Just...

You.

You are the only item in the store

that nobody can put a price tag on.

Simply because

you are not relished

by a romantic partner,

does not mean

you cannot relish

in yourself.

Single does not mean unlovable.

Single does not mean un-wantable.

Single only means single.

Remember that,

and never forget it.
