A Poem for Them

This is a poem my husband wrote for me. Now I share it with you, to give it to your own.

"A Sweet Melody"

Even if… the world… might make him bleed.

Drop by drop you later see,

He starts to make, a melody, which soon becomes a symphony, that fills the colors of

your dreams.

Day by day he learns to grow,

And finds a way, to share and show, that pain is worth, all the growth, in the world,

as long as he,

strives to reach, every goal, to live at ease.

Hope you know, that I indeed, want to be, next to thee, so…

For you I write… this melody.

I love your eyes that shine so bright, from the light of your own life,

it complements the sentiments,

So genuine, and alive.

Every color of my mind, is vivid lovely as it shines, even brighter with this girl, you’re the

beauty, of his world.

A soul so gorgeous and so rare, I hope you know this, that I care.

As stars reflect, the years of light, you grow and grow, and set the sight, that grasps the

eyes, of many skies, that change in tone, because it’s owned by Mr. Blue sky.

You pierce the memory of my soul, but no regrets,

I’m never cold

For what I see now, is pure gold.

A greater vision when you smile, that tells the rainbow, stay a while.

Makes me wish, to make your day, anytime, you feel so grey,

so you can let these colors stay,

to make a picture or a play.

May 13th, year '16, the day you turned, age eighteen

The painting,

the universal sea,

all harmonized so beautifully,

stands clear,

in my memory.

Though I might seem, like the fool, who thinks he sounds, all so cool,

even though there’s that chance, I might not have a single clue

but keep in mind, that just for you, I’ll try to find, the perfect time, to bust a rhyme,

in a clever way, to make you say, “can you be mine?”

even if, it’s in the mind.

Rare lovely sweet gold wine,

Filled with magic and sunshine,

I think I’ve gone through space and time,

Just to say…

Hope you were quite amused,

for that is why,

I try to rhyme,

with a simple line,

like I love you.
