A Poem for My Soulmate Ulaylah

Now is not our time my love,

this life's journey incomplete,

there is a distance yet to travel,

before we finally meet.

We will find comfort in each other,

and hope to wipe away the pain,

from road's we have past taken,

but will never walk again.

Making love with fevered hunger,

blocking out sad memories,

if only for a short while,

the pain you will find will ease.

When our moment to meet arrives,

and we are united two as one,

we will get lost within our Beings,

Father,

Mother,

Daughter and Son.

Our final act upon this Earth,

is represented by a dance,

your rhythm is the ray of light,

to give humankind a chance.

So listen carefully to the drum beat,

feel two as one keep time,

energy,

one to another,

leaving all our sins behind.

The dance is so mysterious,

taught upon a higher plane,

the ultimate in pleasure,

making love,

destroying pain.

The time for us meeting is getting near,

so know the steps by heart,

for only when you dance alone,

my love,

can I be sure we will never part.
