A Peace of Mind
Have you ever felt completely overwhelmed by the thought of nothing?
With a life full of uncertainties and what ifs, the sky is the only thing that keeps me grounded.
Lay down, look up.
Embrace the silence of the world around you-
a small pause in the sobs, but nowhere else.
See in this life, I've realized.
There is no, "what if?"
No, "what happens?"
There is only a silence, a minuscule peace in the thought that -
if you choose not to choose,
to stay still in a moment full of chaos and unstoppable movement and blurred words,
even if you choose to be completely gone from this moment itself -
things will go on.
If you choose to stop here,
the ground will keep on shifting, the grass will always grow.
There was nothing before
there is nothing now
and there will be nothing then.
That is my peace.
