A part of the world

Welcome to the iAge

The temptations of an Apple

Kindles the flame of a sage

Amazon warriors

Rage for sales and savings

Lamborghini angels

Got rich weapons racing

A part of them all

A fiasco in the mall

Answer Black Friday's call

And that of the Trinity

Victoria, Merrion

Holy St John

Dark denim jeans

They come in pairs to hide in plain sight

Contact lenses

They come in pairs to see far and wide

Grey Janoskis

They come in pairs to stand upright

Dove like wings

They come in pairs for the flight to land

Two by two fold on the Ark only to row

Fools led by fools onward the chant

Oh to the polls

And death comes in 3s

So don't be stumped

Only in 3s may we be trumped

Only in 3s may we be trumped

They're not done yet

Nearly ready to herald the end of dunya

Many more horsemen for the right to choose from

Many more horsemen for the right to choose from

A part of the system

Made for cis white men

We complain for lack of inclusion

But we're all lost in the system

So what do you call that then?

A part of the ship

You can watch it sink

Front row view to voyeur the violence

If you miss it, if you blink

Audiobooks, YouTube too

Stream it for free

Vicariously vent vitriol speech

And from the ship to the sky

Soar over great seas

Greatness that is plain to see

Over Pakistan and Palestine

Constant drone of constant drones

Devilish drum kit

Beating out lives

Constant drone of constant drones

Paint the wind with grief

Blood on kites

Another strange fruit

Antoher southern breeze

South Carolina to Syria

Yarlswood and Yemen

Ain't it strange, ain't it strange?

Obama's reign left us the same

Though I didn't expect a thing

Black men ain't perfect, certainly not kings

Just hoteps hotstepping

All over your screens

So nothing's changed nothing's changed

Global chains, global pain

Volence is viral

The strongest strain

A part of the world

A part of the Earth

A part of the world

Sink into the dirt

A part of the world

I age of ages

I age and age

We spend and spend

But we cannot save

So unto angels

So wanting to be

Apart from the world

Heaven is the door
