A N X I E T Y

Don’t tell them to control it. Instead, find a simple way to help them.

Anxiety. Such a simple word yet so evil. Evil enough to make you feel so useless. You wake up every morning and overthinking is how you start your day. You go to sleep and overthinking is how you end it. Have you ever been told something and your mind goes over and over what that person said? A simple “Hi” from someone could make your mind run wild; such as “Why did they say 'Hi' and not 'Hello?'" Or “Hey”

"Could they be mad at me? Did I do something wrong? Did I say something wrong? Why did they say it so simple?” You know what also sucks? When people tell you to just “relax.” RELAX? It’s like telling a paralyzed person to stand up and run! NEVER and I mean EVER tell someone with anxiety to just relax or that they need to control their anxiety. That simple “relax” and “try to control it” 100 percent already ruined their day, weeks, months, even years. Trust me. Instead ask them what would make them feel better. Make them a warm lavender honey tea to help calm them down, put a on that they like, invite them out to eat or to a park, somewhere they can enjoy and forget. A N X I E T Y is a nightmare.
