"A Movement"

“A movement.”

The powerful figure speaks with a finger pointed in the air.

It’s seems as if it always takes a sea of people to drown an issue.

It takes a “movement” to have strangers open their arms, to have people tell their story, to have changes being made, to wipe the dried salty tears of others... oh wait...

Isn’t it a little late? The tears are dried. But it takes a movement right?

And all we did was wait, wait for others to validate our truth.

Something more than ourselves is the only way to create some sort of finality in this world.

Think for just a second.

From the moment that we open our eyes the movement that is constant will never reach its full potential on its own?

Is that what you're telling me?

The bodies of millions busy, day after day, going, going, going,

Movement, movement, movement–STOP.

It isn’t enough on its own. Ok?

JUST STOP.

And now, as I sit and wonder if maybe the true answer to bliss is to be still... my actions turn to stone.

How blissful it must be, to be lifeless.

See?

Isn’t it funny, how you would think that you need a movement for change, but if one person stops their movement, gone, deceased, complete stillness, solitude, shh... quite... that can cause the same effect?

At least to me in this world it seems, the only “movement” that can make a noise alone is the one without noise at all.
