You claw at my heart, you invade my mind,
I inhale you with every breath I take,
Your presence around me acts like a bind,
It is your voice that awakens an ache,
Deep within me something familiar stirs,
It wraps me up and my body quivers
All lines between reality and dreams blur,
My emotions overflow as if I am a river
That threatens to flood, refusing to cease,
To acknowledge. It smashes all the walls,
Renders all else mute, acts as it pleases,
All else shatters, shrinks as I recall
How you made my heart flutter and soar high
Above and beyond. How can I deny?
