A Love Letter to You

A poem about our past adventures

I don't think I could ever fully understand you.

I can't grasp you in one whole, I just slowly have to discover you piece by piece.

You're an adventure that I've never embarked on, a new and improved form of insanity that I embrace with open arms.

You're something so incredibly rare and beautiful.

You are untouched freshly lain snow, soft, perfect sparkling untouched flakes of purity that collected atop my lips as you gently descend down upon my skin.

You're the embodiment of wonder.

You scatter across my mind as broad and bright as Sirius. Shining brighter than any other, an overwhelming, blinding gift from the Heavens, cradling me like a child.

You are the mountains of Machu Picchu,

You are the golden piano in Budapest,

You are the Parthenon in Greece,

You are New York in the winter,

You are never ending adventure,

You are rest.
