L- Laziness, the adults say, But it’s

N- No one should dread this like I do, my
O- Outcries of anguish going unheard,
P- Pleas go ignored as I find it hard to breathe
Q- “Quit it” I’m told as I’m pushed through the doors. My hands
R- Reach for something, anything to ground me as the
S- Sea of people suffocate me,
T- Talking as if I wasn’t even there
U- “Ugh, did you hear what she said?”
V- Vince, I can hear you, you lying fuck.
W- With what little breath I have, I laugh everything off
X- Marks the spot of where my anxiety lies.
Y- You think I’m overreacting, but my panic goes from
Z- Zero to one hundred as I read the words: Welcome Back to School.
