A Heartless Weight
The dust it settled upon my heart...
The dust it settled upon my heart,
Howling from the somber sky
Echoes, whispers…
Dying voices, they filled my mind,
Unless…
Somehow the chamber can be broken.
Torn apart its ancient locks, where
Inside it holds a passion,
Still, it's trapped, in the blackest night.
Encapsulated under horrid weight,
Timeless, ancient, filled with worry;
Tumultuous passion, frothing inside me.
Lamenting with a sordid pleasure,
Eclipsed by the light of a Yellow Star,
Dripping over my eyes with spectral embrace.
All through the night, each beat weighed down,
Depressed by that chthonic sky,
Now covered in some ashy snow.
And suffocated by ancient light,
Inside a chamber, which beats so loud
Gnashing, throbbing for a sense of reason;
Only to find that there’s no way out.
No way out, from that chamber locked.
Will the dust ever settle?
And will my heart ever be free?
Inside the chamber, which beats so loud,
Tonight, where stars scream,
Scream…. they scream so loud.
