A Generation Angry

"A generation angry is a caged animal..."

A generation angry is a caged animal,

a bear poked on countless occasions

by those who wear its fur while filing its claws.

A generation angry has blood contaminated

by the ticks that suck the hope out of the veins of prosperity,

spreading the plague of greed and apathy

that paralyzes and blinds the host,

creating the illusion of the righteous parasite.

A generation angry awakes,

roaring out from under the sedation caused by propaganda.

A generation complacent is lobotomized

and are sheep who are convinced that the pasture is green.

But they are

herded by the master wolves that prey from marble dens.

But a generation angry sees scorched earth,

the ashes blowing in its face.

A generation angry are the sheep that bite back the wolves.
