Seven Days ~
Chasing a desire... Wishing for more... Blinded by ego...
Plant it, watch it multiply...
A seed... More than a seed, a dream, or vision... Found knowledge in something I would have discarded...
Day one: Hope for the future and all that could be
Day two: Excited, as expectation grows...
Day three: Keep watering... Pay attention, stay focused
Day four: I see no change
Day five: Who am I kidding...
Day six: Am I repeating this for nothing???
Ego says there is No Hope, soft whispers say there's more...
Believe. Dream. Love.
Day Seven: No way... Is that white I see. Signs of a sprout!?!?!!!
In this seed lives visions of abundance, feelings of hope & love... Planted, saying I Have All I Need... In time realizing the truth behind those words. In seven days I realized even something so small... Which appears to go unnoticed or discarded by others IS the most Magicial Creation of all. When things become stagnate, repetition equals exhaustion, hope lost... Remember~
There's Purpose and Reason to Keep Going... Hold on ~Smile~

I promise her. I'd do anything for her. She's my mom. Even as Lanie and Deanna are flying home, Mom is scrappy fighting dying. She lays too still in that too-big bed with all the toasty white hospital blankets, in the south tower, at the broad end of a long slow-turning corner that delivers me again to her private room with the view she can't see through, with the beeping that tells us nothing new, and all these ice chips she can't swallow, and a flood of well-intentioned nurses who cannot do a damned thing all the same.
