An Honest Opinion About Leaving Old School Friends When Starting a New Chapter
College is over now and we are off,Off to brand new start.We may not stay in touch that much,But do not take this to heart.
We all want to lead a positive life,One fulfilling and fun.You may not have that much to add right now,Our friendship may feel done.But do not fret,It's not that harsh,I'm not trying to be cruel.Sometimes we only need a person,Throughout our time at school.
Exams are stressful,Class is hard,And we are excited to be in our prime.We needed each other as support, But only at that time.
As we reach adulthood where our lives begin to start,It's fair to say that after a while we may begin part.I'm grateful to have you in my life,I'll remember you for sure.Always know that for you,I have an open door.
You've been there for me and I for you,Now perhaps this is goodbye.And who knows we may need each other again,For support some other time.

Feeling Like A Dead Leaf
Self-conscious breaths unfold through the forest within my chest, an avalanche tips off and drops. Plop into the pond of my fears it rips a ghost faceless in my inner rowdiness. The room is overcrowded with action and noise it's hard to grasp true connection. I feel like a torn bed sheet stripped from my comfort scattered from my alone solitude. Feeling skinless and yuck of unaddressed weight. Overpiled junk with crushing inner dialogue bashing myself in a closet. At times I feel drunk swaying above heavy floors kicking dead leaves at my feet. And then I wonder, what does it feel like to be a dead leaf? Nothing and everything!

A New Beginning
Tony couldn’t sit still, crossing and uncrossing his legs, trying to calm his trembling hands as Clara stood at the office window deep in thought. The airline ticket in his shirt pocket moved to the beat of his heart¬– each beat bringing back the nightmare causing memories of the words he’d spoken over ten years ago. Thanks to Clara he’d finally gained the courage to buy that ticket.

Stuck in Place
Amy whistled as she walked through her front yard, looking for any sticks she could pick up and throw into the pile she and her brother were making. They had a big windstorm recently; as such, all the trees in their yard had suffered some damage in some loss of sticks. Or perhaps losing those sticks was a good thing since their trees probably needed to be pruned anyway. Amy wasn't sure.
