Warning Signs
Alarm bells keep chiming, telling me you’re wrong.
But I don’t heed their warnings.
So, I drown them out by playing our song.
Auto Pilot
I’m on auto pilot
I don’t have control today
You’re the destination
And my body knows the way
“I want you” Is all I have to say.
Escapism
If I could escape
Anywhere I wanted to
The crazy thing is
I would run straight to you
Not expecting a fairytale
Or a dramatic plot line to unfurl
Just your body, around which mine can curl
Because right now all I need is you
And maybe a hug or two
That would do.
Falling
Do you ever see that you are about to fall
So you stop and look over the edge.
Then you panic because you can’t see a way back up.
Loving you was jumping in anyway.
Untitled
You’re the eye to my storm
The calming centre to it all.
