A Broken Shard of Glass

The Heart Whom Is Shattered

Drifting away and away,

father and farther until the ends meet,

the shard of glass carries over into the next life,

floating endlessly until nothing is shimmering.

Broken, shattered, and torn apart

gradually turning into little specks of diamonds.

Once, they were big.

Second, they became smaller and smaller as the days went by.

Third, the little shards started to form and they started to take the form of little diamonds,

synchronizing in harmony, singing a cry for help, but to no avail did the little diamonds last for long.

Slowly, but surely, the diamonds were no longer what they used to be.

Eventually the diamonds turned into dust and became one with the wind.

As they floated off into the distance,

someone finally reached out,

but, at that point, it was already too late.

The lifespan of the little diamonds were limited.

After a while, you could no longer see them.

No one knew where they went and eventually,

they became forgotten.
