6 Billion

An Inconvenient Poem

6 Billion people, nigh on seven.

Pray that there’s room on ascension to heaven.

Better yet beg that our ephemeral motions,

abluvial needs,

antediluvial notions,

fears stricken ‘pon coats cast of cast-iron greed

Are not swallowed, still whole, by seven unforgiving seas.
