5 AM Musings

As I Awaken

Dawning, yawning, stirring, still in slumber...

My heart now hollow

To save filled from sorrow

For what will be tomorrow?

Look to today they say

Harder view that way

Pinpoint to just one day

World swimming full of emotions

Interaction all a commotion

If only there was a magickal potion

Dream states, dream scapes

Helps to isolate

The coldest form, most forlorn

Love so near, precious dear

Yet so far, I do fear

What has become abundantly clear

Threads oft wear, or even tear

Struggle then eventually break

Rarely though, they can grow

For which I pray for heaven's sake.
