Today makes 3 years since you've been gone
3 years since I've seen you in the physical
3 years since I've heard your humanly voice
3 years since we laughed under the stars
3 years since our physical reunion
And these are all the things I've lost within those 3 years
But I've also gained so much within those years
Within those 3 years I've seen you in energy form and with my 3rd eye
Within those 3 years I've gotten over my PTSD from seeing the accident that caused your death
Within those 3 years I started to hear your spiritual voice
Within those 3 years I have grown so much due to the gift of life you gave me
Within those 3 years you've helped me cultivate that gift
Within those 3 years we've helped plenty of souls by sharing our story and helping them communicate with their departed loved ones
And within those 3 years I've gained a spiritual partner in life and in death
And I just want to say, Thank You!

As memories of you flood my brain like the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, I sit here and wonder what could have been. As memories of you fill my head like you fill the gas tank on a car, I think about all those 20-minute drives I took just to see you and be in your presence.
