Another One

I walked through the jungle once again today

The loud noise of the trees talking

The ringing of the bird brought us here

The 5 minutes we are so generously given

To cross the whole jungle before it becomes a crime

As the trees scatter I'm left with a question

With no answers

Why am I doing this

Because I have to shouldn't be a reason

Because I have to shouldn't even be an excuse

To do what is needed to survive

And this jungle is better off without me

There are many ways to leave

To get out of this jungle

But of course there is no escape

I guess I'm not much of a nature man

More of a weaker word man if I could say

But words aren't what the jungle teaches

Only obedience

And that I won't learn

Survival on your own is much better than in the jungle

Losing my mind in the jungle as the trees become lesser in number in my area

The bird rings again

I'm not close to the other end of the jungle yet

Now the hunters come

Man isn't the most dangerous game

If you get to them early

Like the hunters do in the jungle

And if they catch you

You are worse than dead

You are in

Detention
