14.

A week before 15.

I remember getting off that number 7 city bus

Not knowing what the future held as I walked down that black concrete street.

Near in my eye sight, I saw you

The wheels of that royal blue bicycle turned and turned as they turn U-Turn.

There you were.

Back into my pupil you go.

Please go...

Hi.

You start to speak to me as you look me up and down like a ball bouncing on the basketball court yard

I'm starting to like the attention.

Please stay.

You tell me how I'm so fine.

And you say something like, "I wanna make you mine."

Yeah yeah, keep going.

I craved the sweet nothings, the lies you disguised as compliments.

Im only 14.

909- here's the rest of my number

Call me sometime.

I walked through the door, 10 missed calls.

20.

Dang you're fast.

What I forget to mention was I had no more minutes on my cheap little black pre-paid celluar device.

14.

Two days before 15.

I stand outside playing innocent jump rope games with my baby sister.

Look down the black concrete street.

You.

There you are once again.

Inside my spirit did a little shout.

He pays attention to me.

"Wanna go to my spot and chill?"

Should I?

Ok, but just for a little bit.

My daddy will be home soon.

She begged me not to go.

Lalalalala, I'm not listening to you little girl.

Go back home!

Lead the way sir.

Step by step I get closer to my death.

Here we are.

"Do you want the lights on?"

What?

Click.

The smell of nicotine filled my nostrils.

Why are you touching me there!?

Stop!

Please. Stop.

My nails digging into your skin, do you even feel?

You turn me over

I run for cover!

Which way is home!?

Daddy there you are!

Silence. Shhhh.

No one can know.

You are now unclean, you unclean beauty queen. Keep your mouth shut!

You did something bad.

This is your fault!

These thoughts haunted me like the boogie man in a 5-year-olds closet!

15.

I'm dead..

Unclean beauty queen

Sweet dreams.
