The idea of happiness.

The idea of happiness tends to be nonexistent to many,

because everyone is in this great need of approval to validate their existence

without taking in consideration what they’re thinking.

Entirely disregarding their feelings—no rather, killing them

We as a fucking society, tend to set a norm of things that are acceptable to validate ourselves with

And the rest, the rest of our “flaws” are for us to deal with.

You see validation within yourself often times varies from that of society’s.

You see we as a society normalize conformity

Which sets us as up as a society

A society in which tells you what’s okay to feel

A society in which dictates what the definition of happy means to us as a whole

But you see, society as a whole shouldn’t normalize those thoughts

Because what we are doing in this so called “society”

Is isolating different thoughts,

different ideas of what it means to be happy.
