When Emotions Sneak In

When emotions approach him,

He immediately reacts towards the button

Revealing the "Circle of Respect"

That he borrowed from McGruff

As letting them in means he's vulnerable.

He greets few emotions without notice

And their names are Annoyance and Anger.

He locks out others while thinking

But we distract him long enough

So he doesn't push out those two.

Ignore his hard work?

Anger is under his nose.

Force Thomas to shift to the shadowy mindset?

Both emotions blossom.

Annoyance is the hue behind his glasses.

I am the heart and emotional safe.

I provide remarks that can paron-amaze-ya,

But "poet" was a sticker that always fell off me.

A compliment from his throat to my ears

Causes a blockage in his neck.

He locks emotions out

When we're shoved in conversation together.

Annoyance seeps into his clothes

Whenever I pun, child, feel, Patton.
