Unusually Grateful

Things I am unusually grateful for....

The moon is white not blue

I have a pair of legs not 3

The sun is lord of the sky

Imagine the moon and the sun had to fight to get to the sky first

Grass is green not transparent

Although, a transparent grass might prevent snakes

Turkey has a cousin named chicken

Blood is red not green

Imagine green like algae substance oozing from a wound

One stomach to dissolve all my food

Creating new stomachs for every new dish would be a pain in the butt

Literally!

Air still remains invisible at the moment

I would hate to pay taxes on the air I breathe.

Humans are just various shades of brown

If we were the full colour spectrum

Racism would be child's play.

Energy can never be destroyed nor created.

None existed at the creation of the world

If they existed they live not to tell us how

For such a person would play God

we make such terrible humans now

What terrible God we would make!

A One-time-world-destroying nuclear weapon does not exist.

Ink can flow through pen

Paper can be written upon

Finally, I am grateful

That I can be grateful

Being grateful is an art

Which demands mastery.
