Today's Sheep

They come in masses like flies to molasses the government for taxes. In the dark. Some wait and once you've noticed them it's already too late. We are their prey, with laws and rules blindly making up obey. Anyone who stands upgets pushed away, left outside this so-called humanity like a stray. While they sculpted our minds like clay, innocents life get slay those in office celebrate by shouting hooray.

Each day we follow like sheep afraid of the pain and sorrow that comes from standing alone. So desperately willing to be a clone or controlled like a drone. They want us to hate each other, can't even debate in peaceful order. We the people must wake up but there's too much kool-aid in our cup, so we live in fear because the unknown is unclear.
